“Be Social, Inspire Justice” in Pierce County
This is the kick–off to a new quarterly event that YWCA Pierce County will hold to help community members build a deeper understanding of domestic violence.
This first event will feature a talk by Steve Pepping, a program supervisor at Puyallup Tribal Domestic Violence Treatment Program. Steve will bring his expertise in the field of domestic violence perpetrator treatment to share some of the reasons why abuse is perpetrated against intimate partners. He’ll also explain ways we, as a community, can hold perpetrators accountable, protect victims, and shift our culture of violence.
